This same matter was sent to you earlier by my friend informing you our grievances. as you said on the telephone that the reason for the delay in issuing the voter’s id is due to increase in mumbai voting population, but I deeply regret to say that this problem is not a new.
To make our communication simple to understand. We would like to know how to get our voter’s id ? inspite of fullfilling all the relevant obligations as per the rules laid down by the Honourable Elecion Commission, the voter’s id are delayed and delayed and delayed with no opportunity to follow up with any concern central authority in this assembly constituency.
Each time we are told to fill only forms and no response.
Voters coming under the Assembly Constituency No. 180-Wadala the central polling stations are never permanent the address and the staff are continuosly being shuffled every six months thereby the voters are unjustly deprived from getting their names enlisted and voters id completed.
Every 3 to 6 months for 32-Dadar the venue is changed with regard to 180 – Wadala conostituency. Forms submitted in the year 2007 and 2008 are still left unattended.
When we approach the Polling Officer or the other staf that are part of the Assembly Constituency 180- Wadala they just give excuses each time whenever we approach to inquire.
A copy of this letter is also sent to the Honourable Prime Minister of India about this pathetic situation prevaling in the city of mumbai.
Each time we go to inquire about the complettion of our enrolment the officer allotted to be incharge at the assembly constituencies of 180 informs that the forms are with the goverment.
Please download the attachment to view the periodic changes in the venue of the central polling station of the assembly constituency no. 180 – wadala being managed by Shri. Wagmare.
Who is accountable for the delay in enlisting our names on the electoral roll and for issuing the voters id ??? If the population of mumbai has increased, the man power to work out a solution can be implemented. More people could be employed and reasonable amount of charges can be levied. Complete delay and continuous excuses only show the inefficiency of those managing this project.
